Musk's X launches YouTube rival

Elon Musk’s X is launching a YouTube competitor app for smart TVs, in its bid to pivot to video.

The new app will initially launch on Amazon & Samsung smart TVs and will reportedly look very similar to YouTube.

In the push to become a "video-first platform", X has been developing video partnerships with personalities including Tucker Carlson, and bought the exclusive rights to the Big3 basketball league.

Elon Musk confirmed the app is coming soon.
