Bing will power ChatGPT & Meta's AI Assistants

FEATURE

ChatGPT & Meta’s AI Assistants use Bing to Search the web in real time

OpenAI announced that ChatGPT can once again search the web for information to provide answers from “current and authoritative” sources.

The feature, called ‘Browse with Bing’, is only open to those with Plus and Enterprise subscriptions for now, but the company says it will roll it out to all users soon.

The ability to see the level of traffic coming from Bing Chat will eventually be added to Bing Webmaster Tools.

Meta also revealed that it will use Bing to power real-time web results for its new AI Assistants, which are rolling out to WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger.
