LinkedIn has more than doubled its mentions in AI answers in three months, according to Profound.

LinkedIn is now the most-cited domain for professional queries with ChatGPT and Google’s AI Mode, including posts, articles, and newsletters from the platform.

Because Microsoft owns LinkedIn and also has a ~27% share of OpenAI, a strong ongoing partnership shouldn’t be a surprise.

Semrush reached a similar conclusion about LinkedIn becoming more influential.
They found that LinkedIn is the #2 most-cited domain overall — behind Reddit, but ahead of Wikipedia, YouTube, and major publishers.

The users most cited in AI chat weren't the most followed. But they were among the most consistent: 75% posted five or more times in four weeks.

One of the most practical levers available right now for increasing AI mentions might be testing incentives which encourage consistent posting from employees and/or customers on the platforms that matter most, Reddit and LinkedIn.
