Shopify quietly launches marketing service

FEATURE

Shopify has quietly launched an automated Digital Marketing service, called ‘Shop Campaigns’, to help its sellers advertise their products on Google and Meta.

Shopify describes ‘Shop Campaigns’ as a “low-lift” customer acquisition program. Sellers specify their Cost per Acquisition goal and Shopify will handle the campaign setup on Google & Meta and the creative assets.

This latest announcement follows the 2022 launch of Shopify Audiences which uses the company’s extensive first-party data to target ads across the major digital platforms for their sellers.
