Shopify quietly launches marketing service

Shopify has quietly launched an automated Digital Marketing service, called âShop Campaignsâ, to help its sellers advertise their products on Google and Meta.
Shopify describes âShop Campaignsâ as a âlow-liftâ customer acquisition program. Sellers specify their Cost per Acquisition goal and Shopify will handle the campaign setup on Google & Meta and the creative assets.
This latest announcement follows the 2022 launch of Shopify Audiences which uses the companyâs extensive first-party data to target ads across the major digital platforms for their sellers.
