Shopify extends high-intent audiences to new networks

Shopify Audiences Reaches TikTok

Shopify stores in aggregate account for 10% of e-commerce sales in the U.S., so the company gathers some pretty valuable data.

Last year the company launched ‘Shopify Audiences’ which gives Plus customers the ability to serve ads to groups of people that Shopify identifies as having “high-purchase-intent”.

Stores select the product they want to sell more of, and Shopify creates a list of potential buyers tailored to each store.

With the latest announcement, Shopify is making those audiences available on more major ad networks: TikTok, Criteo, and Snapchat. In addition to Google, Meta, and Pinterest.

Shopify claims their “algorithms have only gotten smarter and more effective thanks to the collective power of our merchants”.

Shopify Audiences is available to Shopify Pro customers in the United States and Canada
