š SearchGPT: Powered by Bing but uniquely ranked
ChatGPT opened up its search feature to all Pro subscribers, with plans to gradually roll it out to free accounts too.
The search tool seems to be powered by Bingās index, though ChatGPT isnāt simply copying Bingās results.
OpenAIās VP of Engineering explained, āWe use a set of services, and Bing is an important one.ā
But ChatGPT ranks content independently, so results wonāt look quite the same as Bingās.
As a practical step, you can start using (or dust off your login for) Bing Webmaster Tools to see your organic Bing performance.
Another bold move: ChatGPT released a Chrome extension that automatically changes your default browser to SearchGPT.

š Metaās Q3 results show that the average price per ad jumped 11%
Also, Meta AI, a virtual assistant that appears natively in apps like Facebook and Instagram, is nearing 500 million monthly active users. As we included last week, Meta is now providing their own search results within Meta AI.

In beta, āSearch Bidding Explorationā finds low-traffic queries that are not covered by an advertiserās existing keywords and will ābid intelligentlyā on behalf of the advertiser.

Revenue reached $65.85 billion, up 10% from last year's quarter of $59.65 billion, as the wider digital ad market continues to grow.
