🔍 Perplexity AI will bring ads to its search engine in Q4

The company is starting to pitch advertisers after amassing 10 million monthly active users

The company says that it answers more than 230 million queries a month, with U.S. queries increasing eightfold in the past year.

Now Perplexity plans to start selling ads for key categories including technology, health and pharmaceuticals, arts and entertainment, finance, plus food and beverage.

There will be two ad products at launch.

Advertisers can either sponsor related questions or place display ads alongside Perplexity-generated answers, with rates reportedly set at $50+ CPM.
