📈 Study: SearchGPT is giving brands 4x the amount of traffic referrals compared to Perplexity and Claude

OpenAI’s effort to challenge Google’s dominance in search launched in beta in July. Still in beta, SearchGPT is growing 150% month-over-month, according to BrightEdge.
The same study found that Perplexity AI and Claude recorded 22% growth in searches. Despite this Brightedge found that Google, with its own AI-driven solution, has not experienced a decline in overall market share.
As AI search grows, the impact on organic traffic to company websites remains a key concern for advertisers. BrightEdge's findings show SearchGPT delivers four times more traffic referrals than Perplexity and Claude.
This suggests SearchGPT is by design a publisher-friendly product, supporting a recent statement by OpenAI’s Head of Media & Partnerships: “We think there’s an opportunity here to drive significant incremental traffic from new audiences”.

📈 Adam Mosseri: Instagram is likely to give more reach to your Carousel posts, compared to photos
Mosseri explained that as users swipe through a Carousel—which can contain up to 20 frames—each swipe counts as an ‘interaction’, which the content algorithm factors in. Mosseri also “highly recommends” adding music to both Carousel posts and photos. Music makes content eligible to appear in Instagram's 'Reels' tab, exposing it to a broader audience.
