Microsoft: AI ads outperform traditional search ads

Google and Microsoft are putting AI-generated answers front and center of their search engines. Which means big changes to search ads.

Due to their partnership with OpenAI, Microsoft is further ahead in the process than Google. Microsoft gave a positive outlook for ads served within their AI chat experience.

A Microsoft Executive said that ads placed within Bing Chat receive a 1.8x higher click-through rate (CTR) than traditional search ads.

Also, Snapchat announced a partnership with Microsoft Advertising. Snapchat will incorporate Microsoft's Sponsored Links within their AI-powered chatbot. 150 million people have used Snapchatā€™s ā€˜My AIā€™ (featured above) so far.
