Google begins integrating ads into AI Search
Last week we learned that Google will show more AI Overviews in response to search queries. At Google Marketing Live the company outlined the initial impact on paid search advertising:
Based on the search query, Google is already showing ads above and below the new AU+I Overview box.
Search & Shopping ads will also start appearing within AI Overviews for a small test group of users in the U.S. when Google considers the ad is relevant to the query and AI Overview.
Ads from existing “AI-powered Search” and Performance Max campaigns will have the opportunity to appear within the AI Overview.

Open announced new deal with Reddit

TikTok is testing 60-Minute Video
TikTok has progressively increased its video length limits over time. At launch, videos were 15 seconds per clip, which extended to 60 seconds, then 3 minutes, then 5 minutes, before rising to 10 minutes in 2022.
