New Beta Boosts Ad Targeting

FEATURE

New Google Beta Elevates Performance Max

Google announced a new beta for Performance Max yesterday.

Performance Max currently reviews advertisersā€™ ads and landing pages to decide where and when to place ads across Google Search, YouTube, Gmail, Discover, Maps, and Display.

Now with the ā€œSearch Themesā€ beta, advertisers can add more information to help guide Googleā€™s ad targeting.

Google asks ā€œWhat are some words or phrases people use when searching for your products or services?ā€. Advertisers can add up to 25 per campaign.

More improvements and control options will be added in early 2024.
