1. Brave allows users to customize how their search results are ranked. Brave is a privacy-focused browser. Brave’s search engine has a "Goggles" feature. In contrast to most secret page ranking algorithms, Goggles gives users filters to adjust the type of search results they get. (Wired ↗️)

2. Meta announces plans to attract and retain influencers. Zuckerberg posted about plans which include a creator marketplace for brands, paid subscriber-only Facebook groups, and a broader Facebook stars rollout. (Facebook ↗️)
3. Klayvio launches a unified customer data platform. ‘Klayvio One’ provides an integrated customer data platform alongside the marketing automation & personalization that Klayvio is well known for. (Klayvio ↗️)
4. An FCC Commissioner calls for TikTok to be removed from app stores. The letter to Google & Apple said TikTok has a “pattern of surreptitious data practices”. This came after Buzz Feed reported that Engineers in China had access to the US user data at least between September 2021 and January 2022. (Tech Crunch ↗️)
5. Google Maps feature ‘Reserve with Google’ can be embedded onto websites. This gives “end-to-end appointment booking flow” through Google. Google’s store locator can also be integrated. (Google ↗️)
