1. Facebook is planning a feed algorithm overhaul. Facebook plans to include non-follower content in its feed as an answer to TikTok's 'For You' tab. Facebook is likely to switch to a video-heavy experience, with Reels & Stories prioritized. The main way Facebook intends to help friends and family keep in touch (Facebook's original mission) is by tying direct messaging to Reels. 4. Spotify reaffirms audiobooks expansion. CEO Daniel Ek told investors “We believe that audiobooks… will be a massive opportunity”. This follows Spotify’s acquisition of audiobook creation company Findaway last year (The Verge ↗️)

5. Pinterest launches idea ads, a stories-style full-screen combination of images, videos, and music. (Social Media Today ↗️)
